    Hi Miles

Thank you for your order which has been processed and despatched today.

Please find attached 2 of the videos edited with your contact details and logo. One to follow in another email as the file size is too big to deliver in one email. If you would also like them in a square format, then please let me know.

We would also like to take this opportunity to offer some friendly advice regarding usage and application of the Product

    • If the wart is old and rough, reduce with a blade to improve penetration
    • Break an ampoule and draw up the liquid into a micropipette
    • Apply to the surface of the wart, covering the entire surface whilst avoiding the surrounding skin
    • Allow to dry. There should be sufficient in each ampoule to treat around 3 normal size warts
    • The warts discolour within a few minutes
    • If they don’t, refill the micropipette and reapply
    • Patients should apply surgical spirit twice a day between visits to help dry them up
    • Schedule a review appointment for 2 weeks using the enclosed follow up appointment cards. If necessary, repeat for up to six treatments
    • Smaller single warts will detach themselves. Cluster or mosaic warts will require debridement

For orders of 6 packs or more we offer a 10% discount - each individual pack would then cost £28.80 plus VAT (£7.20 plus VAT per ampoule).

If you need any further advice or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us, we are always happy to help, further information can also be found at www.esperehealth.co.uk/verrutop

We also supply a range of other products ranging from treatments for nail fungus and wound infections / cracked feet (Abicin and Abilar), to specialist socks to be used under compression hosiery and also an expanding range of protective equipment (gloves, aprons, goggles and Type IIR and FFP2 masks) please take a look at www.esperehealth.co.uk for more information.

    Kind regards

    Dear Miles,

Thank you for your enquiry regarding Verrutop. Sorry for the delay in replying but we’ve had literally dozens of enquiries since the middle of the week and I’m burning the midnight oil to catch up.

Verrutop is a new class of Verruca treatment. It is a Class IIa Medical Device, complying to all the quality, safety and clinical regulations that such a classification requires.

Whilst Verrutop is a combination of organic and inorganic acids, the acid base is not designed to either burn or stimulate an immune response but to create the production of nitrite on the wart or verruca which produces a desiccating effect drying up the wart tissue and reducing residual viral DNA. The verruca just dries up and falls off, leaving an intact epithelium underneath.

It is applied by a capillary tube at 2-weekly intervals and clinical studies show a clearance rate of around 40% with a single application and up to 90% after 6 applications.

As it is virtually pain-free, it can be used in children as young as 6 years of age.

Contra-indications are relatively straight forward and logical:

    • Don’t use on healthy skin or mucous membranes, on malignant tumours, flat warts or freckles or keloids
    • Don’t use on children under 6 years of age
    • On women who are pregnant or breast feeding
    • On cases of arteriopathy or peripheral neuropathies where sensory activity is significantly diminished
    • As concomitant treatment with other wart removers

Each pack contains 4 ampoules, 6 capillaries and a full instruction leaflet. Each ampoule can treat up to 3 verrucae at a single session so the pack of 4 could be the “starter” dose for 4 patients. A pack costs £32 + VAT (£38.40) so a single application will cost you £8.00 plus VAT. How you charge it out to your patients depends on your current processes but most podiatrists I’ve been talking to are thinking along the lines of £12 - £15 per ampoule used, plus the cost of their professional time.

You can either order direct from us by calling 01462 346100 or email chesca@esperehealth.co.uk . We can send you an invoice along with your order or you can pay over the phone by card. It’s up to you. We’re happy to supply in single units or can offer a 10% discount on orders of 6 or more packs

We offer a few videos for you to put on your website of Social Media to help raise awareness amongst your customers and we have just produced a flier to help you raise awareness in your clinic. I’ve attached one of the videos for information. We can customise the last page with your contact details if you wish. I’ve also attached 2 of the clinical articles. The first one looks at all aspects of wart treatment since European Dermatologists cover all the body as they do not have a separate Genito-urinary Medicine speciality.

Hopefully, this will give you a bit more of an understanding. I’m happy to answer any specific questions that you might have.

Verrutop is part of our ever growing range of podiatry products which now include Abicin, fungal nail lacquer, Abilar for cracked and open sores on the feet and legs and DermaSilk socks for use under compression hosiery or for treating and preventing gravitational eczema. We are also assisting a lot of medical centres with the provision of PPE so don’t hesitate to ask if you have any specific requirements.

We look forward to being of help to your patients and practice.

    Best Wishes

    Chris
